The Harlingen Area Builders Association generally holds regular monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of every month at the Harlingen Country Club.
Prominent community leaders are often featured guest speakers at HABA’s meeting and keep members informed about issues affecting the community and the industry. Aside from educational benefits, HABA’s members enjoy the networking opportunities with the growing number of businesses joining the organization.
Below are the notes from our most current meeting:The Harlingen Area Builders Association held their monthly meeting on February 3, 2009. HABA President, Armando Elizarde, updated members on upcoming events for February including "Rally Day" to be held in Austin, Texas at the State Capitol where builders from across the state will rally on the Capitol steps and be addressed by Governor Rick Perry. A Texas Style bar-b-que will also be held and hosted by the Governor on the Capitol Grounds.
